Breast Cancer

E0771 Cell Line: E0771 is a murine (mouse) breast cancer cell line derived from a spontaneously occurring tumor in C57BL/6 mice. It is often used in research as a model for triple-negative breast cancer, which lacks estrogen, progesterone, and HER2 receptors. This cell line is valuable for studying aggressive breast cancer subtypes and evaluating potential treatments in an immunocompetent setting.

4T1 Cell Line: The 4T1 cell line is another murine breast cancer model, derived from a mammary tumor in BALB/c mice. It closely mimics stage IV human breast cancer due to its highly metastatic nature, spreading to multiple organs such as the lungs, liver, and brain.

MDA-MB-231 Cell line: MDA-MB-231 cells are a human breast cancer cell line that is commonly used in scientific research, particularly in the study of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). These cells were originally isolated from the pleural effusion of a patient with metastatic breast cancer in the 1970s.
