Colon Cancer
The CT26 cell line is a murine (mouse) model derived from a chemically induced colon carcinoma in BALB/c mice. It is widely used in cancer research due to its aggressive nature and ability to form tumors rapidly, closely mimicking the progression of human colon cancer. CT26 cells are also known for their immune responsiveness, making them an ideal model for studying cancer immunology and evaluating new treatment strategies, including immunotherapy and combination therapies.
