Pancreatic Cancer
KPC Cell Line: The KPC cell line is derived from a genetically engineered mouse model of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), which is one of the most aggressive forms of pancreatic cancer. KPC models are generated using a combination of oncogenic Kras and mutant p53, two common mutations found in human PDAC. This cell line closely resembles the genetic and histopathological features of human pancreatic cancer, making it a valuable tool for studying tumor progression, metastasis, and resistance to therapy.

Panc-1 Cell Line: Panc-1 is a human pancreatic cancer cell line derived from a pancreatic carcinoma. It is commonly used in research due to its highly invasive and metastatic properties. Panc-1 cells are particularly resistant to chemotherapy, providing a challenging model for testing new therapeutic agents and combination treatments.
