Renal Adenocarcinoma

Renca Cell Line: The Renca cell line is a murine (mouse) model derived from a spontaneous renal adenocarcinoma in BALB/c mice. It is commonly used to study kidney cancer, as it closely mimics human renal cell carcinoma in both its primary growth and metastatic behavior. Renca cells are particularly valuable in research due to their ability to metastasize to the lungs, liver, and lymph nodes, similar to the metastatic patterns seen in human cases.
