Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease that affects the central nervous system, leading to symptoms such as muscle weakness, fatigue, and difficulty with coordination. Some studies suggest that bee venom can help manage MS symptoms due to its anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating effects. Melittin, a peptide found in bee venom, appears to suppress the immune system’s attack on the nervous system, which is a key factor in MS. While it’s not a cure, bee venom therapy offers hope as a complementary treatment for managing MS symptoms and slowing disease progression. References:
